Initial Activity

What is evaluation?

It’s one of the most important items in the education, it’s reflects what the students are grasping, as well if they can understand what the teacher is teaching. To students help in the way they can measure what are they leaning and fix their doubts for better comprehension in their process of learning.

Evaluation helps to evaluate what of the learners are safe and comprise the class, if they enjoying their leaning experience, also what attitude they have toward class, therefore this would lead us to know what is the participation in these learning processes, allowing us to see their interest in learning, as make some corrective measures that must involve the whole class, and maximize the time, resources, have new ideas of learning or improving what we have.

What steps are necessary to develop an evaluation?

There are different points to consider first identified the good results for the evaluation as the data the learners have had during the period of the classes, to obtain the most accurate results.

It’s necessary to developing an evaluation plan. In this point we should to know what is the objectives and goals we looking at.

Also we should address with suitable questions to fit the propose of the school. Then try to get different methods of evaluation in order to find out what is the best working for, as well we need to look for the timeline in each evaluation activity, in this stage of the evaluation is better to be clear what kind of question are formulate it, because some question should be take more time to answer that others.

What are the best times to apply an evaluation?

As soon as the learners can grasp the topics of the classes this should be the best time to implement the evaluation, so anytime should

As soon as possible! The best time to do this is before you implement the initiative. After that, you can do it anytime, but the earlier you develop it and begin to implement it, the better off your initiative will be, and the greater the outcomes will be at the end.

Remember, evaluation is more than just finding out if you did your job. It is important to use evaluation data to improve the initiative along the way.

What types of evaluation do you know? What are the most recommendable for you?

The types of evaluation there are many depend of what we want to evaluate, according to this here are some of them. (Process Evaluation, Outcome Evaluation)

Process Evaluation focus in specific activities of the program to measure the quality and the outputs who received it. Then we can evaluate whether the target group have been reached, also the activities are reaching all parts of the program teaching. Lastly about the materials and the information are suitable for the learners.

Outcome Evaluation the target is to design an outcome evaluation, to measure the progress of the program of the school and how well the program aim has been achieved. This type of evaluation help to evaluate if the goal of the school program has been reached in this case there are some factors that can be contributed in order to have some change if they need it.

What can determine how reliable the evaluation results are?

Probably if the results of the evaluation affect the school program and consider that information is accurate for the students and the school, after that get some structure in a way to achieve the school goal of the evaluation. As well this result help to find ways to modify or improve the school program for evaluation. The evaluation results will most be making decision about how much the evaluation is suitable to give the results expected it. Then any decision make can best assist with plan development and data reporting based on evaluation results.
